Campus Co-operative Residences was founded in 1936 on principles of co-operation and afforable housing. IT currently houses 250+ post-secondary students in beautiful, century old houses. Our houses are situated in the heart of downtown Toronto, within walking distance of the University of Toronto (St. George Campus), Ryerson University, OCAD, and George Brown College.
These delightful houses, some of them veritable Victorian mansions, some of them semi-detached row houses built for large families, have lots of nooks and crannies with mysterious stair cases. There are a variety of rooms, from grand old rooms with tall ceilings, richly carved wood paneling, inlay, fireplaces with original tiling and stained glass windows to bohemian attic rooms under the slanted roof where students dream, study, and play.
