History | Agnes MacPhail House houses 11 members, 4 washrooms and 1 kitchen. Agnes MacPhail was the first woman elected to the Canadian Parliament. A member of the CCF party (Co-operative Commonwealth Federation), a predecessor of the NDP, she was an active supporter of Co-ops. CCRI purchased Agnes MacPhail house in 1965. |
