History | Rochdale house features an industrial kitchen and large meeting space. This house is named after the birthplace of the modern Co-operative movement. The movement was born when 28 mill workers opened a Co-operative shop on Toad Lane in Rochdale, England on December 21st, 1844. CCRI purchased Rochdale House in 1952. |
